John stood in the wilderness for all the world to see
Saying blessed is he who comes after me
For I’m just a man, nothing more, nothing less
I’m to prepare the way for him, Heaven’s best

The day would come where he would arrive
and the voice of Heaven through the parted sky

And in all things, it’s Jesus who brings

Mary awoke one night to hear God’s voice say
You will bare a son, a king, a slave
His voice full of power and his life free from sin

The day would come that immaculate birth

For this savior, this child, who’s unlike the rest

Jesus slept through a storm

Knowing a love this great
would survive all tribulation
Shouting Hallelujah is a peace
that this world, they can't explain

It’s a peace that passes all understanding
A peace that heals the mind
A peace that passes all understanding
That this world can't seem to find

Whatsoever things are true
Whatsoever things are lovely
Whatsoever things are real
Think now…think on these things

Shadrach…Meshach and Abednego
walked through fire without a scar
Saying, “Oh King…no matter what
we will never ever bow our knee”
If the Lord…our God decides
not to spare our simple lives
that does not change my state of mind
for the peace of the Lord
